AJCU-AP CEOs Meeting
From 23 to 27 August, Fr. Vinai and Fr. Nopparat represented Xavier Campus at the AJCU-AP CEOs Meeting 2026, held at Politeknik ATMI Surakarta in Surakarta, Indonesia. The gathering brought together leaders from Jesuit institutions across the Asia-Pacific region for several days of dialogue, reflection, learning, and collaboration.
More than a regular institutional meeting, the program provided opportunities for participants to engage with emerging issues and developments in education. Sessions explored Leading with Magnifica Humanitas, Education for AI and AI for Education, and AI as a Tool for Academic and Administrative Leadership, inviting participants to reflect on how technology can be thoughtfully integrated into educational leadership and practice.
The program also featured a session on Shifts in Education: Revisiting and Redesigning Assessments, highlighting the need for educational institutions to continually adapt their approaches to teaching and learning in response to a changing world.
One of the highlights of the gathering was the ATMI Workshop Tour, which gave participants an opportunity to learn more about Politeknik ATMI Surakarta’s facilities, practices, and approach to technical and vocational education.
Through these sessions, exchanges, and shared experiences, the meeting fostered deeper understanding and strengthened relationships among Jesuit institutions in the region.
For Xavier Campus, participation in the gathering is an opportunity to remain connected to the broader AJCU-AP network and to continue discerning new ways of advancing the shared mission of Jesuit education.
The five-day gathering ultimately served not only as a space for institutional dialogue but also as a reminder of the importance of collaboration, innovation, and shared mission in responding to the evolving needs of students and communities across the Asia-Pacific.
